still in motion
i'm alive!!! i never died!!! i actually had this whole graphics post planned out with pictures of my summer of baking but i got way sidetracked over the last few pics and then it just never. finished. FFFFFffff i'll post those up eventually though. :) what the hell, i'll just post them now. AHAHAH
on to life things. um, i'm like shit scared that i'm balding now?????? like i looked at my hair today and i was like, 'welp.' like the crown of my head (or wherever the hair starts to part??? like that part at the top of your head part........) is like growing in skin space and i can totally see the lack of hair i got up there which is fucking terrifying bc i'm not even twenty yet and i am facing like middle-aged woman balding??? or so it seems anyway. my hairline's kind of going up too, but idk man. advice???? somebody help??? stop my hair biology????????
erm. school-wise, i'm taking like three linguistics class right now and one bcs (brain and cognitive science) class and one art (intro to photograpy!) class, and i'm getting swamped by these two particular linguistics classes. like intro to ling and intro to grammatical systems last year were super fun and relatively easy??? but intro to semantics and intro to phonetics/phonology is like pulling teeth for me and super fucking difficult for me to understand ESP SEMANTICS??? BC IT'S LIKE LOGIC BASED AND FUCK LOGIC???? I CAN'T UNDERSTAND LOGIC WHY ARE YOU IN MY FUCKING LINGUISTICS CLASSES GO THE FUCK AWAY ugh
my second pair of midterms are this week, so i gotta study a lot on sunday ffffffffff and cry to myself bc it's semantics and bcs and i'm just not that great with this material at /all/. hopefully i'll actually get studying done at work tomorrow. :\
i've been cooking a lot this semester! i got my own kitchen this year bc the place i chose to live lets us have a kitchen and bathroom kjsdflakjla ;~; i got a suitemate, and i'm slowly making her learn how to cook bc really, at this age, you gotta learn how to cook /something/. and it's been a real stress reliever (although the amount of money i spend on groceries alone omigod) to be able to just make food, so that's been fun. i haven't gotten to making macarons here yet, but i've got my almonds and everything! i just gotta test my oven a couple more times bc the last few times i've made cookies.........they weren't. yeah. but, we'll see. :)
socially, i've been making a few unwanted splashes in my little pool of friendship. dramas have arisen, and are currently still going on, with me being a big instigator, so yeah. not really fun on that front. i've got a ridiculously big mouth, and it's landed me in quite a bit of hot water recently, sigh. we'll see how things turn out, i guess. it wouldn't be a stretch to say i might lose some friends in the near future, aha.
okay, onto the photos. fff these were my trip to the highline in nyc with my friends (it's becoming quite a tradition to go there every time we're on break, apparently) and two separate attempts at macarons. :)

tho we're going into the city one day while i'm home for thanksgiving so if it's nice i am going to demand we do this
i would try not using hair ties to tightly pull your hair back, try those alligator clips instead and gather it loosely. also maybe do you use hair dryer or maybe rubbing it too hard when towel drying?
